ViaStrada

The Task

ViaStrada is a team of dedicated transport planners and engineers, with a wealth of experience and expertise. They came to us initially to do a redesign of their site, but our designer was too busy at the time so they had to go with someone else. They came back to us around 6 months later with a struggling layout with menus displaying off the page, text that was unreadable on mobile devices along with other issues.

While our designer was still a few months away from being able to work on the site we were able to take their existing site and branding and rebuild the theme into a modern, component based design that rendered predictably and legibly across a full range of contemporary devices. This sat on front of the existing site data structure & content, which greatly reduced the rebuild time.

Working with Marketing Manager Debbie Roxby we presented early possible layouts for approval and modification, and the component based structure made it easy to make changes to sections of the site without impacting other areas.

At the same time we moved the site to more modern hosting, offering a reduced cost base, set them up with a Google Analytics account and a automated monthly reports so they can track their traffic and site usage.
